Caymanian photographer and filmmaker behind Epic Vista Media
I’m Erik Leacock, a Caymanian photographer and filmmaker creating refined ground and aerial imagery for hotels, resorts, destinations, luxury properties and experience-led brands.
Born and raised in the Cayman Islands, I have traveled through more than 30 countries, developing a deep appreciation for place, culture and the details that shape how a destination feels. Over the past three years, that global perspective has evolved into professional photography and film projects across seven countries to date.
Before founding Epic Vista Media, I served six years in the U.S. Air Force as a Crew Chief on the A-10 Warthog and C-130 Hercules, reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant. That experience shaped the discipline, preparation, calm problem-solving and attention to detail I bring to every production.
Today, I combine cinematic ground-level storytelling with distinctive aerial perspectives to create cohesive visual libraries for hospitality, travel and property brands. From photography and brand films to short-form social content, every project is carefully planned to capture the character of a place and deliver polished assets ready for websites, campaigns and social platforms.
My approach is collaborative, detail-driven and tailored to each client, with a focus on creating work that feels elevated, authentic and valuable long after the shoot.
